The Fix Creative have partnered with one of London’s leading interior design agencies for the hospitality industry – very high end and luxurious portfolio needed for this one.

We are looking for an outstanding Technical Wayfinding/ Product Designer to join our award winning Graphics team. Working in collaboration with our internal interior design team and other celebrated international architects, the graphics team produces wayfinding, branding, and environmental graphic design for several of the world’s most luxurious spaces. Our role is to either interpret and work with existing brand guidelines, or to create a new brand or visual identity that will integrate seamlessly into a unique interiors space. The design brief varies from project to project, but our expertise spans naming, logo design, signage, wayfinding and printed graphic communications.

As a Technical Wayfinding/ Product Designer, you will take ownership of product development following concept approval. You’ll combine your deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and spatial communication with a refined design sensibility to deliver products that are both elegant and highly functional. You will collaborate with Creatives, Strategists, Project Leads, and external stakeholders throughout the design process, helping drive the creation of schemes with your technical knowledge. 

You will lead the design and development of the technical phases of a wayfinding, signage or environmental branding scheme. Translate wayfinding strategies and branding into physical design solutions. Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, material specs, and manufacturing documentation. Collaborate with internal teams, architects, fabricators, and engineers to ensure feasibility and quality. Oversee prototyping, sampling, and on-site installations when required. Research materials, finishes, sustainability options, and production innovations. Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects. Mentor junior designers and contribute to studio-wide design excellence.

Perform basic administrative/staff support duties as required

Attend meetings as required

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years’ experience in product design with a focus on signage, wayfinding, or architectural graphics

Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related discipline

Deep knowledge of materials (metal, acrylic, wood, etc.) and signage manufacturing techniques

Strong skills in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, REVIT or similar), Adobe Creative Suite, and technical drawing standards

Experience producing fabrication-ready drawing packages and specifications

Excellent spatial awareness and sensitivity to brand, environment, and user needs

Salary dependant on experience. We will only consider applicants who provide CV, portfolio, and salary expectations. This is a fulltime position. This position will be working in hybrid, from our creative studio in London bridge, and remotely (3,2 split, following an initial review period).
