E-commerce Executive

Overview of the role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven e-commerce executive to oversee our online sales
presence and grow our revenues by optimising our website’s performance. The ideal
candidate will possess in depth knowledge of SE0, SEM, and how to optimise website
functionality and UX to drive conversion ratios and return on investment. They will have a
strong background in e-commerce strategy, digital marketing, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and revenue
growth.
• Manage and optimize our e-commerce platform (Shopify) to ensure a seamless and
user-friendly shopping experience.
• Monitor and assess analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for
improvement, implementing performance enhancements accordingly
• Recommending UX optimisations to IT and best practice & website style &
technology evolution to Management.
• Responsible for all aspects of SEO and SEM.
• Create and implement an email automation plan to increase revenue
• Collaborate with others in the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing
campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, product listings, and pricing strategies.
• Oversee customer service operations to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of
enquiries and issues.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practice, and emerging technologies in ecommerce.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and partners involved in ecommerce operations.
• Continuously optimise website performance, including site speed, navigation, and
conversion rates. Recommending budget and direction to Management.
• Website branding, image & non-product content creation & management.
• Website product catalogue management - working with Procurement, Product
Development & Marketing to manage product catalogue content and imagery.
• Google ecosystem management including ads.
• Liaising with all other Depts to ensure transactions are completed efficiently and all
staff are fully aware of the website's objectives, capabilities, strengths and
weaknesses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to e-commerce
operations.
Requirements:
• Degree ideally in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (4 years+) in e-commerce management, preferably in a retail or
consumer goods industry.
• In-depth knowledge and experience working with e-commerce platforms, analytics
tools, and digital marketing channels.
• Experience with Shopify required.
• Experience with Storybloks preferred.
• Experience with Klaviyo preferred.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of SEO, and SEM strategies essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven
decisions.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of the google ecosystem including ads.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript),
advantageous, not essential.
