Overall Responsibility
 
The Marketing Manager role requires a candidate that is ambitious and proactive, able to build leads from a combination of Marketing tactics, which would also require an understanding of the business, across creative, media and data driven marketing. You must be hands-on, embracing the variety of the role – from building out a marketing strategy to grow new inbound leads for the agency to screening leads at first touchpoint. You will be the first touchpoint in the lead filtering process, ensuring that they attract and engage high-quality leads across marketing methods.
 
Responsibilities
 
Building out the inbound marketing flow to generate leads for the agency
Collaborating with the senior leadership team on the new business pipeline
Developing and managing email marketing campaigns
○ Maintaining and updated mailing lists to ensure effective targeting and engagement
○ Monitoring inbound leads via website
 
Defining and managing the agency content strategy and calendar
Develop and execute a comprehensive content calendar for social media platforms and blogs.
Map out and work with our subject matter experts to create content which aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience
○ Shape and communicate our agency’s brand values and ethos, ensuring we maintain a clear and consistent brand message throughout
○ Actively seek opportunities for our team members to contribute to thought leadership pieces.
 
Managing the agency website, ensuring it is kept up to date and optimized
○ Implement and optimize conversion flows on the website, incorporating lead capture mechanisms such as downloadable info packs / case studies
○ Regularly monitor and analyze the impact of website content on inbound lead generation.
○ Leverage data analytics and insights to make informed marketing decisions, optimise campaigns, and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
○ Ensure the website's blog section is up-to-date with relevant and valuable content.
○ Keep industry associations, memberships and profiles up to date
 
Event Management:
Plan and organize events, both virtual and in-person, to enhance brand visibility and connect with potential clients.
Identify and attend industry-relevant events alongside our senior members to network and establish the agency as a thought leader.

Experience
● At least 5 years of experience in marketing roles within the advertising, media or professional services industry, with a focus on B2B demand generation
 
Desirable
● Previous experience working in or alongside a digital marketing agency, or industry knowledge through other means - familiarity with Paid Media, Creative and SEO concepts
● Understanding of design principles to enhance the visual appeal of client-facing materials (we have a creative team in-house who can support)
● Video editing skills to support creation of thought leadership assets

Qualifications
● A degree with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, ideally in a science, business or marketing vertical or part of an agency internship program
