Account Director - New Business Lead
 
My client is a fun and passionate packaging design agency in Berkshire.
They lead brand and packaging design for an exciting blend of leading FMCG brands (many food/drinks).
Working in partnership with their clients they create, develop and nurture brands to their full packaging potential and have successfully been growing for over 30 years. 
 
The scope:
Reporting into the Managing Director, this Account Director will be the primary lead for the new business agency, working to bring on all new business opportunities with the plan of being their full time Account Director as projects progress.
For this reason they must be experienced at account handling but, importantly, maximising the opportunities for new business expansion plans - From writing new business pitches, being confident and experienced in delivering the new business pitches (typically over teams now), being proficient in packaging design language and creative critique, having a strong attention to detail and importantly, being warm and personable - future clients will buy into this person as much as they do the agency, so building a strong and positive relationship is key. 
Candidates will have experience within branding and packaging design and already have experience at Account Director level including new business pitching and relationship building. We are looking for a strong leader to take on our new business drive and to be an Account Director billing pillar within the business. This role is an exciting opportunity for a driven, proactive person with a warm, approachable and team led mindset.

Salary:
This role is full time. We are business led so a minimum of 4 days a week in the office after the 3-month probation period. Before this, we request all new starters to be full time in the office so they can work alongside our other Account Directors and MD to be fully absorbed into current new business activity and our ways of working.
