Our client is a leading company in the field of plush toys and baby products. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a talented and creative individual to join us as Maternity Cover for a role across our Product Design and Packaging team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Design:
  • Generate innovative and visually appealing sketches, sample designs, and concepts for plush toys and baby products.
  • Drive product development through the creation of compelling design elements.
• Licensor Approvals:
  • Manage approvals from licensors for both product and packaging designs.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and maintain strong relationships with licensors.
• Packaging Design:
  • Develop packaging artwork for new products based on provided style guides.
  • Refresh and modify packaging designs to meet international requirements and contribute to sustainable practices by reducing plastic usage.
• Product Development:
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams and factories to develop and approve samples.
  • Conduct thorough sample checking, maintain accurate logs, and coordinate internal photography sessions.

• Proven experience in product design and packaging within the toy or baby product industry.
• Strong proficiency in design software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with licensor approval processes and maintaining strong relationships with licensors.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating visually appealing and commercially successful products.
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices is a plus.
