My client is a fun and passionate packaging design agency based in Berkshire.
They lead brand and packaging design for an exciting blend of leading FMCG brands (mainly Food/Drinks).
Working in partnership with their clients they create, develop and nurture brands to their full packaging potential and have successfully been growing for over 30 years. 
 
The scope:
Reporting into the Creative Director, this mid weight packaging designer will be a real packaging all-rounder with the ability to apply their skills with care and attention. Projects will range from first/second stage creative, whole pack layouts through to range rollouts.
The candidate must have a good understanding of messaging hierarchy and product tiering with an outstanding attention to detail for true brand consistency, being speedy whilst creating faultless work. 
 
The ideal candidate should be able to answer a brief to meet client’s expectations and achieve commercial success, whilst also bringing their own fresh creative angle.
All candidates must be fluent in Illustrator & Photoshop. Art Direction, Hi Res Retouching and project planning skills a bonus!
 
The musts:
Minimum of 2 years packaging experience. 
 
Start Date: 
Flexible but looking for a March start date.
 
Salary:
This role has an open spec -  we are open to part time and full-time applicants. Part time could be 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday ideally) or the same time over 5 days so working around school hours, noting this role is needed even in school holidays.
We are also open to full time applicants too - we are business led so a minimum of 3 days a week in the office after the 3-month probation period. Before this, we request all new starters to be full time in the office so they can work alongside our other creatives to be fully absorbed into projects and our ways of working. Salary tbc based on hours. Salary packages come with free permit parking in the heart of town and the Government NEST pension scheme.
