Administrator (Creative Quality Control Team)

Do you have the attention to detail to help deliver artwork and design efficiently, faithfully and accurately, across the globe? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the creative industry for a Quality Control Executive.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality control procedures are meticulously followed. Full training will be provided, and as you grow into the role, you will gain more autonomy and responsibility.

This job is located in Purley, near Croydon but could also be based at the Southend-on-sea office (Essex). Its 5 days on site with no remote working option.


Job Summary:
As the Quality Control Executive, you will initially assist in the administration of the quality control checking procedure. However, the ultimate goal is for you to take complete responsibility for this process. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting both client and internal deadlines. Your knowledge will grow, and you will be able to provide guidance to other team members on relevant guidelines.

Overall Responsibility:

  • Assist and eventually take full responsibility for the administration of the quality control checking procedure, including external client checks, admin and filing, and checking designs and artworks for compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Learn and advise other team members on guidelines related to Barcodes & QR-Codes, Nutrition, Fish- and Meat Sustainability, Allergens, Food Labelling rules, and industry standard logos.
  • Ensure all design, text, layout, and color aspects within artworks comply with brand guidelines for multi-lingual food and non-food packaging.
  • Confirm the precision and accuracy of work at the first stage, providing feedback to internal account managers and artworkers.
  • Communicate efficiently with clients and provide written reports for external checking tasks.
  • In time, be familiar with and advise clients on costs for services, if required.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Educated to at least Degree level.
  • Experience in the creative/branding industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with MS Office packages (Outlook/Word/Excel).
  • Ability to balance and manage your own workload.
