Mid-weight Creative Designer
Job Description
Our client is looking for a Designer who can work on both digital and some print projects, for campaigns such as the ecommerce, social media, brochures/leaflets, email, packaging & video campaigns. You will be an experienced Designer with a creative mindset, a keen eye for detail and a desire to constantly improve brand expression through better design. You are in the loop with design trends and have a strong understanding of branding. You'll be the sole designer working within a fast-paced marketing team and taking ideas from concept through the full design process.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Helping produce eye-catching creative content to support the brand’s marketing and content activities.
- Amplifying the brand’s tone of voice through creative and engaging email and editorial webpage design
- Delivering high standard print collateral, including in store POS, look book, PR assets etc
- Creating backdrops and set design for exhibitions.
- Working across Amazon A+ content and product listing imagery to increase conversion.
- Develop visually appealing designs for email campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Create engaging graphics for e-commerce platforms, optimizing user experience and driving conversion.
- Design eye-catching content for social media channels that resonates with target audiences and promotes brand awareness.
- Produce visually striking point-of-sale materials to enhance in-store marketing efforts.
- Uphold brand standards and guidelines across all digital touchpoints to maintain a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
- Design and create product packaging
Experience:
- Proven experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across email, e-commerce, social media, POS, and print materials including packaging
- Familiarity with industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva).
- Ideally experience within the Retail/FMCG space
- Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise a large workload according to ever-changing business needs.
- Working with Klaviyo or other email platform to create newsletters.
- Solid understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and colour theory.
- Proficiency in creating responsive designs for various digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present design concepts effectively
- Experience of working with different key stakeholders including marketing, digital teams and external suppliers
- Creative and conceptual thinking
