My client is a really cool and funky bar and restaurant group and are looking for an exceptionally good in-house web developer to join the team.

Expectations 
 
●  You  must  be  capable  of  building  and  maintaining  several  websites,  both  staging  and  live areas. 
●  To  gather  a  clear  understanding  of  company  style  and  expectations. 
● Take  a  self-directed  and  very  organised  approach  to  workflow  management  with  excellent  organisation  skills  in  order  to  meet  or  stay  ahead  of  all  deadlines.  You  will  also  be  able  to  guide  and  train  others  with  these  skills  and  map  out  projected  progress  for  more  complex  projects. 
● Ensure  website  security  by  updating  all  plugins  regularly  and  taking  other  preventative  measures. 
● Contributing  creative  ideas  and  input  to  all  project  briefs. 
● Be  excited  to  improve  PageSpeed,  optimise  and  following  web  best  practices. 
● Ability  to  effectively  manage  multiple  projects/tasks  of  varying  complexities,  meet  tight  deadlines  and  work  well  under  pressure. 
●  You  will  develop  best  practices  and  documentation  to  enable  future  growth  as  well. 
● Facilitate  constant  communication  of  status  of  projects  to  colleagues  and  managers. 
 
Requirements 
 
● Minimum  of  3  years  working  in  an  office  environment  as  a  developer,  working  with  designers  to  produce  websites  of  a  high  standard. 
● A  keen  eye  for  detail  –  ability  to  convert  designs  to  user-friendly  web  pages  
● Knowledge  of  UX  principles  and  best  practice. 
● Ability  to  produce  comprehensive  wireframes  using  client  briefs  and  UX  research. 
● Good  understanding  of  SEO  principles  and  ensuring  that  applications  will  adhere  to  them.

● HTML5 
●Responsive  web  &  email  experience
Experience  in  cross-browser  testing  and  rectifying  compatibility  issues 
● PHP  &  MYSQL 
● Wordpress  Theme  &  Plugin  development 
● Javascript,  Javascript  Libraries  &  Frameworks  (  jQuery  etc  ) 
●  API  (  Google  Maps,  Facebook,  Youtube  etc  ) 
●  CSS,  CSS3,  Pre-Processed  CSS  (  Less,  Sass  etc  ) 
●  Familiarity  with  build  tools  (  Gulp,  Grunt,  Webpack  etc    ) 
● Version  Control  (  Git,  Gitlab,  Github  etc  ) 
● Adobe  Suite  (especially  Photoshop  &  Illustrator)
