The Account Executive is responsible for assisting the management and development of long-term client relationships and supporting the rest of the Client Services team in the delivery of client requirements.
 
Working closely with the Account Manager, the Account Executive gets involved in all aspects of client requirements, from the initial briefing stage or internal brainstorming to building client relationships first-hand in order to gain experience and have accountability for client satisfaction.
 
The responsibilities can be explained as follows:
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Assisting the Senior Account Manager/Account Manager to manage a portfolio of accounts and using contacts to generate new business.  
• Aiming to be the first port of call for all those that need information, both internally and externally, assisting in a calm and helpful manner.  
• Building credibility by seeking knowledge of the agency and clients’ businesses in order to gain confidence and communicate clearly.  
• Working closely with the Project Management team to manage work and liaising with the Creative and Development teams on the delivery.  
• Taking   direct    ownership of assigned tasks and projects and using initiative to tackle problems in the first instance but knowing there is support from the wider team.  
• Applying curiosity to new business situations and challenges and learning fast by quizzing more experienced colleagues as well as undertaking competitor research.

 
What you won’t be expected to do:
 

• To write technical and functional specifications.
• To work in isolation.
• To line-manage anyone.
• To attend meetings without support from the senior team.
